Max Petronio began work as a casual initially in the cellar door and then gained experience as a cellar hand. Yarra Ridge supported Max in his wine studies at Charles Sturt University from 1997 – 2002
Boutique winemakers Yering Farm Wines, employed Max for cellar door sales and as a cellar hand
The first batch of Petronio wine is made in tiny quantities at the Yering Farm Winery.
Production increases with introduction of new wines from other Yarra Valley vineyards
The first release of a Petronio Shiraz with fruit sourced from the Upper Yarra Valley.
